Dr Charita Mandalia

Dr Mandalia earned her medical degree in 2011 from King’s College London before moving back to her hometown of Leicester to complete her General Practice training. Alongside her clinical work, she has served as a clinical supervisor for GP trainees and held leadership roles as a cancer, palliative care and sepsis lead. As an accredited Lifestyle Medicine practitioner, she is passionate about providing holistic, patient-centred care with particular expertise in health promotion and disease prevention.

Beyond General Practice, Dr Mandalia is a clinical tutor at the University of Leicester Medical School and a Medical Examiner at the University Hospitals of Leicester. These roles have enriched her communication skills, enabling her to build strong rapport with patients of all ages, from children to older adults.

Outside of work, Dr Mandalia maintains her own wellbeing through regular fitness and reformer Pilates. She enjoys baking and values spending quality time and travelling with her young family.
